I read the book Bridge to Terabithia and it is half fantasy fiction and half realistic fiction. Jess, a fifth grader makes friends with a fifth grade girl named Leslie and together they create a fantasy world all their own.

I just learned from a very wise professor that the first question one needs to answer when analyzing a piece of art, whether it is written, filmed, drawn, painted, danced, sculpted or otherwise, is “Did I like it?” The second question is then to be, “Why (not)?”
I liked Bridge because the relationships were realistic even though the setting was a bit fantastical, and also because it made me cry. I like anything that makes me feel strong emotion.
